I am a seasoned communications and digital media production specialist, with honed leadership and project management skills, and a deep appreciation for teamwork and collaboration. I previously worked as director of communications for an employee-owned social enterprise, and in specialized communications roles within local and international nonprofit organizations. I have hands-on experience developing and managing comprehensive external and internal communications strategies and campaigns and am a skilled digital media producer and storyteller.

As a result of working for an ESOP company, I am passionate about employee ownership. I believe it has the potential for advancing equity by ensuring that everyone benefits from corporate success. I honed a unique skillset and can help companies to both drive engagement and build culture through communications and help tell their story about employee ownership.

Trained as a documentary photographer and filmmaker, I directed, filmed, and produced a short documentary film, Embedded, which was screened at the 2014 DOC NYC Film Festival in New York: http://www.docnyc.net/film/point-shoot/embedded. 

My work has taken me around the world, including living in India and Jerusalem for a short period. I think of myself as a global citizen and spent my early childhood in Kenya and Sudan. I’ve lived and studied in France and speak intermediate French. I’m now very happy to live in Maine by the ocean. In my spare time, I like to do fun adventury things outside, visit other places, and make things by hand.
